Jowelle McGrath

I grew up in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. I started originating mortgages in the mid-2000s. After the 2008 financial crisis, I transitioned into retail banking, working for institutions such as PNC and SunTrust Bank, offering me the learning experience of identifying clients' financial needs and suggesting programs and products best suitable for them and their families. In 2015, I continued my educational journey in economics and computer science at the University of Maryland in College Park, maintaining a GPA of 3.86. I temporarily entered the hospitality industry while attending UMCP due to its flexible hours. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I chose to return to the mortgage industry with the extensive experience in finance and client relations I have gained through the years.
